CANDISKIN 1 % CREAM 15 GM  is used to treat inflamed fungal skin infections.

Uses of CANDISKIN 1 % CREAM 15 GM  are:

• Fungal Skin Infections: Treats ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch and candidiasis.
• Pityriasis Versicolor: Clears the fungal overgrowth that causes patchy discolouration.
• Symptom Relief: Calms itching, redness and irritation of the affected skin.

To ensure effective use of CANDISKIN 1 % CREAM 15 GM, follow these steps:

• Keep the area of application clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of CANDISKIN 1 % CREAM 15 GM on the affected part and its surrounding skin as directed by the physician.
• Rub gently till it is fully absorbed into the skin.
• Always wash your hands after application to avoid spreading the infection.
• Replace the cap tightly and close it after use.
• Do not accept if the seal is broken.

CANDISKIN 1 % CREAM 15 GM contains clotrimazole (1%). This active ingredient works on the body as follows:

• Causes Fungal Cell Death: By inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, clotrimazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to leakage of essential cell components and ultimately causing cell death.
• Broad-Spectrum Antifungal Activity: Clotrimazole has fungistatic and fungicidal activity against a wide range of fungal species, including dermatophytes, yeasts, and Malassezia species.

• Store CANDISKIN 1 % CREAM 15 GM at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Do not freeze it.
