Britam 50 Tablet is used to manage partial-onset seizures in adults and adolescents with epilepsy. Regular use helps reduce seizure frequency and severity, supporting better daily functioning.
It contains brivaracetam, an anticonvulsant. Take it with or without food as prescribed at the same time each day. Do not stop it suddenly, as this can increase the risk of seizures, any reduction in dose must be done gradually under medical guidance.
A consistent sleep routine, avoiding alcohol, and managing stress all support seizure control. Take care with activities such as driving or operating machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems and about all other medicines you take. Tell your doctor promptly about significant mood changes, unusual behaviour, or agitation. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
