It contains baclofen, a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the spinal cord to reduce the overactive nerve signals that cause muscle spasm.
Take it as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly, as stopping baclofen abruptly can cause serious withdrawal effects such as confusion, hallucinations or fits. Any dose changes must be gradual and guided by your doctor.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, epilepsy or mental health conditions before use. It may cause drowsiness, so take care with driving.
