Bocker 40 MG Tablet Er 10 contains propranolol (40 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Beta-receptor blockade: Propranolol blocks both β1 and β2-adrenergic receptors, preventing adrenaline and similar substances from attaching to these receptors in your heart and blood vessels.

• Reduced heart activity: By blocking these receptors, propranolol decreases your heart rate (negative chronotropy) and reduces the force of heart contractions (negative inotropy), which helps lower blood pressure and oxygen demand.

• Blood pressure reduction: Propranolol lowers blood pressure by decreasing cardiac output, inhibiting renin release from the kidneys, and reducing sympathetic signals from the central nervous system.
