It contains an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Take the tablet as prescribed, with or without food, and complete the full course even if you feel better before it finishes. It is not effective against viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
Drinking plenty of fluids and getting adequate rest can support your recovery while taking this medicine. Avoid skipping doses, as irregular use reduces its effectiveness against the infection.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any pre-existing conditions, known allergies to antibiotics, or other medicines you are taking. Contact your doctor promptly if you notice a rash, severe diarrhoea, or any signs of an allergic reaction.
