Bandy Suspension is an anthelmintic medicine used to treat parasitic worm infections, including roundworm, hookworm, pinworm, and tapeworm infections affecting the intestines. It is also used to treat certain tissue worm infections, such as neurocysticercosis and hydatid disease.
It contains albendazole, which works by inhibiting glucose uptake by parasitic worms, leading to depletion of their energy stores and their death. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with food, and taking it with a fatty meal may increase absorption when treating systemic worm infections.
Inform your doctor if you have liver problems, blood disorders, or allergies before starting this medicine. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy, as it may harm the unborn baby.
