Bandy Suspension contains albendazole (200 mg). Here's how it works:

• Tubulin binding: Albendazole binds to a protein called tubulin in the cells of the worms. This protein helps construct the structure inside the cell. By binding with tubulin, albendazole interferes with its function.

• Disruption of cell function: The disruption of tubulin leads to breakdown of structures within the cells of the worm. This impairs glucose uptake by these cells.

• Inhibition of energy production: Albendazole also inhibits an enzyme specific to these worms called fumarate reductase. This enzyme is essential for energy production in these organisms.

• Immobilisation and death: The combined effect of all these actions leads to immobilisation and eventual death of the worms.
