Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and control blood pressure in patients not adequately managed by two individual components. It also replaces three separate medications for patients already taking Cilnidipine, Metoprolol Succinate, and Telmisartan. This tablet helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death from cardiovascular causes in high-risk patients aged 55 or older.

Here's how you should take Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a sufficient amount of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet is taken orally.

Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet works to control high blood pressure by combining the effects of its three active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker. It obstructs the passage of calcium into blood vessel walls, causing them to relax and widen. As a result, it decreases the resistance to blood flow, which helps reduce blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This ingredient is a selective beta1-adrenergic receptor blocker. It works by blocking the effects of adrenaline, a hormone that can increase heart rate and blood pressure. By slowing down the heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions, it aids in lowering blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Acting as an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), Telmisartan interrupts the action of a hormone known as angiotensin II, which can constrict blood vessels. By blocking this hormone, it allows blood vessels to widen which in turn, decreasing blood pressure.

• Store Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.

• Keep the tablet out of reach and sight of children.

• Always use the tablet before the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Since Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet manages hypertension, limiting your salt intake can be beneficial. Too much salt can raise blood pressure.

• Regular physical activity such as brisk walking, swimming or cycling helps lower blood pressure. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise a week.
