Apriglim M2 Tablet 15 interacts with the following medicines:

• CYP2C9 inhibitors: Medicines like fluconazole and amiodarone may increase the levels of glimepiride in your body, making you more susceptible to side effects like hypoglycaemia.
• Other glucose-lowering medications: If you're taking salicylates, sulphonamides, chloramphenicol, probenecid, or cimetidine, these can intensify the glucose-lowering effect of glimepiride resulting in low blood sugar levels.
• Cationic medications: These medicines, including amiloride, digoxin, morphine, procainamide, quinidine, ranitidine, triamterene, trimethoprim, and vancomycin, may reduce how quickly your body eliminates metformin, which could increase its action and side effects.

Apriglim M2 Tablet 15 has known interactions with certain foods:

• High-fibre foods: These can slow down the absorption of metformin into your bloodstream. This may alter the effectiveness of this medicine.

Apriglim M2 Tablet 15 interacts with the following diseases:

• Renal impairment: If you have severe kidney problems (eGFR <30 mL/min/1.73m²), this medicine is not recommended because it might accumulate in your body.
• Congestive heart failure: If you're suffering from heart failure requiring pharmacological treatment, this medication could worsen your condition.
• Metabolic acidosis: If you're suffering from acute or chronic metabolic acidosis (including diabetic ketoacidosis), this medicine is contraindicated as it can exacerbate the condition.
