Anglit 6.4 Tablet 30 is used for the following:

• Prevention of angina attacks

• Management of coronary artery disease

• Improving blood flow to the heart

• Maintaining oxygen supply to the heart muscle

• Long-term control of chronic angina

• Complementary treatment in heart failure

Follow these instructions while taking Anglit 6.4 Tablet 30:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, as it has a special controlled-release tablet.

• Take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

Anglit 6.4 Tablet 30 is taken orally.

Anglit 6.4 Tablet 30 contains glyceryl trinitrate (6.4 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blood vessel relaxation: Glyceryl trinitrate relaxes the smooth muscles in blood vessel walls, causing them to widen (dilate) and improving blood flow throughout the body.

• Coronary artery dilation: It specifically widens the coronary arteries, which are the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle with oxygen-rich blood, helping to relieve chest pain caused by angina.

• Reduced cardiac workload: By dilating veins, this medicine decreases the amount of blood returning to the heart (preload) and reduces the resistance against which the heart pumps (afterload), thereby decreasing the heart's oxygen demand.

• Improved oxygen supply: Through these combined actions, glyceryl trinitrate improves the balance between oxygen supply and demand in the heart muscle, preventing and relieving angina attacks.
