Alnamet Myo Tablet 10

Alnamet Myo Tablet 10 is used for managing polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It helps regulate menstrual cycles, improve ovulation, and balance hormone levels in women with PCOS. This tablet also reduces insulin resistance, aids in weight management, and lowers the risk of metabolic complications. Additionally, it helps reduce hirsutism (excessive hair growth) and enhances fertility in PCOS patients.

Follow these instructions while taking Alnamet Myo Tablet 10:

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, breaking or chewing it.

• Take this medicine regularly at the same time each day.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Alnamet Myo Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Alnamet Myo Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Metformin (500 mg): This component improves insulin sensitivity in your body's cells, allowing them to use glucose more effectively. It reduces insulin resistance, which is common in PCOS, and helps lower blood sugar levels by decreasing glucose production in the liver.

• Myo-inositol (600 mg): This naturally occurring substance plays a crucial role in cellular signalling. It acts as an insulin sensitiser, improving your body's response to insulin. Myo-inositol also helps regulate hormone levels, particularly androgens (male hormones), which are often elevated in women with PCOS.
