Acutrax S 1.5 Injection 1 is used to treat serious bacterial infections, including those that resist other antibiotics, such as infections of the chest, urinary tract, abdomen and skin.
It contains ceftriaxone, a cephalosporin antibiotic, and sulbactam, which protects it from the enzymes some bacteria use to resist it. Together they kill a broad range of bacteria.
It is given as an injection by a doctor, who sets the dose and course.
Tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporins, or any liver, kidney or gallbladder problems, before use. Report a rash, swelling or severe diarrhoea.
