Composition

Aceclofenac (100 Mg) + Paracetamol/acetaminophen (325 Mg)

Acecloflam P Tablet is used to relieve moderate pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as acute back pain, dental pain and sports-related injuries.

It contains aceclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and paracetamol. Aceclofenac helps reduce pain-causing chemicals at the site of inflammation, while paracetamol helps lower the overall sensation of pain and reduce fever. Take this tablet after a meal to reduce the chance of stomach irritation, and take it as prescribed.

Staying well hydrated while taking this medicine helps protect your kidneys, and gentle movement or physiotherapy, where advised, can support recovery from musculoskeletal pain.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of asthma, stomach ulcers or heart disease. Avoid taking other medicines containing paracetamol at the same time, to prevent an accidental overdose.

Acecloflam P Tablet 10 consists of two active ingredients that work together to provide relief from pain and inflammation:

Aceclofenac (100 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. These chemical messengers are key to inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking the action of cyclooxygenases-2 enzyme, aceclofenac reduces the inflammation, pain, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, joint pain, and injuries.
Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): Believed to act mainly on the central nervous system, acetaminophen inhibits central prostaglandin production by blocking COX enzymes in the brain. It increases the pain threshold and brings down fever by acting on the brain's heat-regulating centre.

Pregnancy

Acecloflam P Tablet 10 is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, discuss this with your doctor.
