3 Vc Vaginal Suppositories 3 are a combination medicine used to treat mixed bacterial and fungal vaginal infections, including bacterial vaginosis and vulvovaginal candidiasis (thrush). They help clear infection, relieve vaginal itching, burning, and abnormal discharge, and restore natural vaginal balance.
They contain clindamycin, an antibiotic, and clotrimazole, an antifungal agent. Insert one suppository high into the vagina at bedtime as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the full course of treatment even if symptoms disappear after a few days to prevent infection recurrence.
Good hygiene practices support recovery. Wash the genital area with plain water, wear loose cotton underwear, avoid scented feminine hygiene products or douching, and complete the full prescribed treatment.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of inflammatory bowel disease. Avoid vaginal intercourse or using latex condoms/diaphragms during treatment as the suppository components may weaken latex. Contact your doctor if severe burning or irritation occurs.
