What is Cinnamon powder?

Cinnamon powder is made from the bark of evergreen tropical trees. Cinnamon is harvested by peeling the interior of the tree’s bark. Cinnamon comes in two varieties: Ceylon and Cassia. Cassia cinnamon makes up the majority of the cinnamon you’ll find in the grocery store. The bark of a tree is used to extract this spice, which can be found in both stick and powder form.

Twak in Sanskrit and Dalchini in Hindi refer to cinnamon. The cinnamon stick is dark and dry, with a thick core. There is a particular aroma and sweetness to cinnamon when used as a spice or medicinal. In this article, we will discuss cinnamon tea’s benefits and recipes.

It doesn’t matter if you use cinnamon or cinnamon powder; they both work as well in recipes. As long as they’re made with the same type of cinnamon, both have the same flavour. However, not all cinnamon is the same.

Cinnamon is one of the world’s oldest spices, and it has a naturally sweet flavour. As a bonus, it’s a significant component in chai and other spiced tea blends, as well as giving the benefits of cinnamon tea. Cinnamon is widely utilised as a natural cure with numerous health advantages in Chinese and Indian medicine and Ayurveda, as well as in cookery. Cinnamon extract consumption significantly reduced inflammation and clinical symptoms in adults with rheumatoid arthritis, as per a few types of research.

Despite its long history of use, just a few studies have examined the health benefits of cinnamon tea. We all know cinnamon is considered a superfood because of its versatile use. Well, this superfood can also be used in tea preparations.

Sugar management and cholesterol levels may also benefit from cinnamon’s properties. There are many ways to incorporate cinnamon into your diet, from sprinkling it on porridge or apple slices to sipping on cinnamon tea. To make this easy dish, you only need to gather a few ingredients and let the cinnamon and tea soak.
