Mepiform Self Adherent Soft Silicone 10 X 18cm Dressing is used for managing hypertrophic and keloid scars. It may assist in reducing both old and newly healed scars. The dressing can also be used on closed wounds to help reduce the development of raised scars. Its soft silicone layer may manage scar texture and appearance over time. For best results, it is advised to wear Mepiform continuously for 24 hours a day and remove it once daily for skin inspection and cleansing. Depending on the scar's condition, the dressing may need to be used for 2 to 6 months.

• Mepiform should under normal conditions be changed every 3 to 7 days or when the adherent properties of the dressing are no longer sufficient.

• Should maceration or rash occur, remove the dressing and allow the skin to recover until the symptom has disappeared. If the symptom persists, discontinue use and consult a physician for advice.
