Nimumac Cold Tablet is used to manage symptoms associated with the common cold. It combines nimesulide, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID), with an antihistamine and a decongestant.
Nimesulide reduces fever, headache and body aches, the antihistamine relieves sneezing, a runny nose and watery eyes caused by allergy, and the decongestant narrows swollen blood vessels in the nose to ease congestion, together relieving the range of symptoms that come with a cold.
Take this tablet exactly as your doctor prescribes, generally with food, and continue treatment only for the short duration advised for cold symptoms, since nimesulide is intended for short-term use.
Tell your doctor if you have liver disease, as nimesulide needs particular caution and should not be used for more than the advised short period. This medicine can cause drowsiness, so take care while driving, and tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease or glaucoma.
