Baksons Urtica Aid Tablet 75 is used for managing discomfort, itching and stinging pains associated with Urticaria, commonly known as Hives. • For adults, depending on the condition of the complaint the dosage varies.
• In the acute phase, take one tablet four times a day. As the condition improves, gradually reduce the dosage from 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 tablet at an interval of 2 -3 days and eventually maintain the dosage to one tablet twice a week (once on Monday and Thursday).
• In the chronic phase, start with one tablet Monday and Thursday, twice a week for two weeks. Improvement is seen, as swelling, redness and itching of skin reduces. Continue the medicine till the symptoms disappear. In case of no improvement after fifteen days you may increase to one tablet alternate day for two weeks.
• Based upon the response after one month the dosages can be increased in case of no improvement which is very rare from alternate days to once a day, up to twice daily at the interval of 15 days each. Usually, most of the patients respond well within the first month.
• A maintenance dosage of twice a week is to be taken till the patient is completely symptom-free.
• For children, start with one tablet once a week. As the improvement increases, you may reduce the dosage to one tablet once in ten days and then one tablet once fortnightly.
• A maintenance dosage of once fortnightly is to be taken till the child is completely symptom-free.

• Keep away from direct sunlight and strong-smelling substances.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Pregnant or lactating women and people with other medical conditions should consult a doctor before using.
• Avoid any strong smells in the mouth, such as coffee, onion, hing, mint, camphor, garlic, etc., while taking the medicine.
• Keep at least half an hour gap between food/drink / any other medicines and allopathic medicines.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol while on medication.
