Zenflox-200 Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including those affecting the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, throat, bones and joints. It helps clear the infection and relieve related symptoms.
It contains ofloxacin, an antibiotic that stops bacteria from growing, allowing the body's natural defences to clear the infection. Take it as prescribed, with plenty of water, and complete the full course even if you start to feel better.
Drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day and avoiding excessive sun exposure while taking this medicine can help, as some antibiotics in this class can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Avoid taking it with dairy products or antacids, as these can reduce its absorption.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, a history of seizures, tendon problems, or are taking other medicines. Contact your doctor if you notice tendon pain or swelling, or signs of an allergic reaction such as a rash. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
