CompositionZenflox-200 Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including those of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, soft tissues, throat, bones and joints.
It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria growing, so the body's defences can clear the infection.
Take it as prescribed, with plenty of water, and complete the full course. Avoid taking it with dairy products or antacids, which reduce its absorption.
Tell your doctor about any tendon problems, seizures or kidney conditions before use. Avoid strong sunlight, stop and contact your doctor for tendon pain or swelling, and note it is not recommended in pregnancy.
