• Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium: The concomitant use may reduce the absorption of cefdinir. Maintain at least a 2-hour gap between administration.
• Antigout medicines such as Probenecid: The concomitant use may reduce renal excretion of cefdinir, increasing its levels and risk of side effects.
• Iron supplements: These significantly reduce absorption. Maintain a gap of at least 2 hours between doses.
