It combines tranexamic acid, which prevents the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding, and mefenamic acid, an NSAID that reduces prostaglandins responsible for uterine cramping and pain. Together, they address both blood loss and period pain.
Take the tablet with food during the days of your menstrual cycle, exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not use it continuously outside your menstrual period without medical advice.
Nausea, stomach pain, or dizziness may occur. Avoid activities requiring full alertness if drowsiness develops. Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, kidney disease, or are taking any other medicines.
