Vogliboz M2 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Improving control of blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Managing high blood sugar levels that occur after meals, known as postprandial hyperglycaemia

• As an adjunct to diet and exercise, when these alone or combined with other diabetes medicines fail to adequately control blood sugar levels

• Beneficial for patients who are not achieving adequate blood sugar control with metformin alone

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not break, crush, or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine according to the timing advised by your doctor.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose.

• If you need to stop taking this medicine, consult your doctor first.

Vogliboz M2 Tablet 10 is a combination medication with two active ingredients working together to lower blood glucose:

• Metformin (500 mg): This component primarily reduces the amount of glucose produced by your liver, a process called gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis. Additionally, it boosts insulin sensitivity, which allows your body to use more glucose effectively and delays glucose absorption from your gut.

• Voglibose (0.2 mg): Voglibose acts in the small intestine, where it blocks enzymes known as alpha-glucosidases. These enzymes usually break down complex sugars into simpler sugars for absorption. By inhibiting these enzymes, voglibose slows down sugar breakdown and absorption, thereby reducing a rapid rise in blood sugar after meals.

• Store Vogliboz M2 Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place, ideally not exceeding 30°C.

• It is advisable to keep it protected from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep the medicine far away from the reach of children for safety reasons.

• Remember to use the tablet before its expiry date.
