Ventocore DL Tablet is used for the long-term control of asthma and COPD.

Ventocore DL Tablet consists of three active components:

• Acebrophylline (200 mg): This bronchodilator works by relaxing the muscles in your lungs and chest. It does this by increasing the levels of a substance called cyclic AMP inside your cells, which reduces inflammation and hyperreactivity in the airways. Acebrophylline also has properties that help improve mucus clearance.

• Desloratadine (5 mg): This non-sedating antihistamine works by blocking certain receptors in your body called histamine H1 receptors. When these receptors are blocked, symptoms caused by allergies such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and red eyes are prevented. Desloratadine also has anti-inflammatory effects.

• Montelukast (10 mg): This anti-leukotriene agent works by blocking substances in your body called leukotrienes that cause inflammation and constrict your airways. By blocking these substances, Montelukast reduces inflammation and prevents asthma symptoms.

The combination of these three components ensures consistent therapeutic effects for a period of 24 hours.
