Ventirex 2mg Syrup 100ml is used to relieve and prevent wheezing and breathlessness in reversible airway conditions such as asthma and COPD, and can also be used before exercise to prevent symptoms.

Follow these instructions while taking Ventirex 2mg Syrup 100ml:

• Shake the bottle well before measuring the syrup.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take doses at the same time each day for the best results.

Ventirex 2mg Syrup 100ml contains salbutamol (2 mg per 5 ml), which works on the body as follows:

• Stimulates beta-2 receptors: Salbutamol selectively binds to beta-2 adrenergic receptors located in the smooth muscles of your airways, activating them to produce a therapeutic response.

• Increases Cyclic AMP levels: Upon binding to these receptors, salbutamol triggers an enzyme called adenylyl cyclase, which increases levels of cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) within your airway cells.

• Relaxes smooth muscles: The elevated cyclic AMP levels cause the smooth muscles surrounding your airways to relax, leading to widening of the air passages.

• Bronchodilation: This relaxation process results in bronchodilation—the opening and expansion of your airways—making breathing easier and relieving symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath.

• Store Ventirex 2mg Syrup 100ml at room temperature between 20 and 25°C.
