Velpride 75/20 MG Tablet 10 is primarily used to treat:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease, often known as acid reflux

• Irritable bowel syndrome, a common disorder affecting the large intestine

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• It’s best to take this medicine about 30 minutes before having food.

Velpride 75/20 MG Tablet 10 contains the following components:

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): Levosulpiride stimulates the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that encourages stomach muscle contractions. This action helps facilitate the efficient movement of food from the stomach into the small intestine.
• Rabeprazole (20 mg): Rabeprazole works by reducing stomach acid production. It achieves this by irreversibly blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, also known as proton pumps. By lowering acidity, it alleviates symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and aids in the healing of stomach and esophageal ulcers.

• Velpride 75/20 MG Tablet 10 should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• To prevent acidity, avoid sitting for long periods; instead, take short breaks every hour to walk or stretch. 
• Limit your intake of fatty foods, spicy dishes, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomatoes, onions, garlic, tea, and soda. Incorporate relaxation techniques such as yoga or meditation to manage stress, which can aggravate acid reflux. 
• Choose loose-fitting clothing to minimize abdominal pressure and reduce the risk of reflux. Refrain from lying down right after meals to help prevent acid reflux. Regular exercise can aid in weight management, reducing the likelihood of acid reflux. 
• Additionally, avoid smoking and alcohol, as they can increase stomach acid levels and lead to heartburn.
