Vasograin Tablet 14

Vasograin Tablet is primarily used for the treatment and relief of migraine headaches. It helps reduce the intensity and frequency of migraine attacks by acting on the blood vessels and nerves involved in migraine pain, providing effective relief from severe headache episodes.

• Take Vasograin Tablet with water. 
• It is advisable to take the medication as soon as possible after the symptoms begin.
• Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
• Take the tablet with food or without food.
• Inform your doctor about medical conditions, medications, and supplements before starting this medication.

Vasograin Tablet is taken orally.

Vasograin Tablet contains the following components: 

• Ergotamine tartrate (1 mg): It is a vasoconstrictor that narrows the brain's widened blood vessels. This action is particularly beneficial during a migraine attack because migraines are often associated with dilating blood vessels in the brain. Ergotamine helps reduce this dilation, relieving the throbbing pain associated with migraines.
• Caffeine monohydrate (100 mg): It is a CNS stimulant that has mild vasoconstrictive properties, which can complement the action of ergotamine in narrowing blood vessels. Caffeine is also known to enhance the absorption and effectiveness of paracetamol. 
• Paracetamol (250 mg): It is an analgesic and antipyretic that helps alleviate the headache pain associated with migraines. It's believed to work by reducing pain signals in the brain and may also have a fever-reducing effect if a fever is present during a migraine attack.
• Prochlorperazine maleate (2.5 mg): It is an antiemetic, which means it helps to control nausea and vomiting during migraine attacks.

• Store this medicine in a cool, dry, and dark place.
• Keep Vasograin Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid skipping meals, as irregular eating patterns can contribute to migraines.
• Practice stress-relief techniques like meditation, yoga, deep breathing, and mindfulness to reduce migraine triggers.
• Try sleeping in a dark room during the migraine episodes.
• Maintain a consistent sleep schedule and ensure you get enough restorative sleep each night.
• Engage in regular physical activity, but avoid excessive exertion, especially during a migraine attack.
• Apply a cold compress or ice pack to your forehead for about 15 minutes to ease pain and reduce blood vessel dilation.
• Apply gentle pressure to specific points on your head, neck, and shoulders that are known to relieve headaches and migraine pain.
