URSOFINE 600 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Dissolving cholesterol gallstones
• Treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis
• Management of liver disorders in cystic fibrosis
• Protection of liver cells from damage
• Improving overall liver function
• Reducing cholesterol production in bile
• Promoting cholesterol solubility in bile
• Management of chronic autoimmune liver diseases
• Slowing progression of liver scarring
• Treatment of bile duct inflammation

Follow these instructions while taking URSOFINE 600 TABLET 10:

• Take the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Swallow the tablet without crushing or chewing it.
• Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor advises.

URSOFINE 600 TABLET 10 contains ursodeoxycholic acid (600 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Reduces Cholesterol Production: Ursodeoxycholic acid decreases the amount of cholesterol your liver produces and secretes into bile, lowering the risk of cholesterol gallstone formation.
• Promotes Cholesterol Solubility: It helps make cholesterol more soluble in bile, which assists in dissolving existing cholesterol gallstones in your gallbladder.
• Protects Liver Cells: Ursodeoxycholic acid shields your liver cells from damage that can be caused by toxic bile acids, improving overall liver function.
• Decreases Inflammation: It reduces inflammation in the liver and bile ducts, which is particularly helpful for conditions like primary biliary cirrhosis where inflammation damages these structures.
