Trivoglitor 1 Tablet SR is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when single-medicine treatment is insufficient.

Uses of Trivoglitor 1 Tablet SR are:

• Type 2 Diabetes Control: Helps lower and stabilise blood glucose levels throughout the day and after meals.
• Prevention of Diabetes Complications: Reduces the risk of long-term microvascular complications such as kidney disease, eye damage, and nerve damage.
• Combined Glycaemic Management: Improves insulin release, enhances insulin sensitivity, and delays carbohydrate absorption in the intestine.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or cut the tablet.
• Do not take more than the dose recommended by your doctor.

Trivoglitor 1 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Trivoglitor 1 Tablet 10 consists of three active ingredients:

• Glimepiride (1 mg): As a sulfonylurea, it stimulates insulin secretion from functioning pancreatic beta cells by binding to their surface receptors. This activity promotes an increase in intracellular calcium that triggers insulin secretion.
• Metformin (500 mg): This biguanide reduces glucose production by the liver, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose, and improves insulin sensitivity by enhancing peripheral glucose absorption and utilisation. It activates a liver enzyme known as AMPK to regulate these processes.
• Voglibose (0.2 mg): It is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that slows down carbohydrate digestion and absorption within the intestines. This action helps reduce post-meal glucose and insulin levels.
