Topmetro Gel 20gm

Topmetro Gel is used in: 

• Treatment of bacterial skin infections, such as acne, rosacea, or infected wounds
• Management of certain skin conditions, such as eczema or dermatitis
• Prevention of infection after surgical procedures or dental extractions
• Prevention and control of periodontal (gum) infections

• Clean and dry the affected area of the skin before applying the gel.
• Take a small amount of gel on your fingertips.
• Gently apply the gel to the affected area, spreading it evenly.
• Wash your hands after applying the gel unless your hands are in the affected area.

Topmetro Gel is for external use only, so apply it to the affected area as directed.

Topmetro Gel contains the following components:

• Metronidazole benzoate (1% w/w): It is a nitroimidazole antimicrobial that inhibits the growth and multiplication of bacteria in the oral cavity, contributing to treating conditions like gingivitis and mouth ulcers.

The storage instructions for Topmetro Gel are as follows:

• Topmetro Gel should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Maintain meticulous oral hygiene by brushing your teeth at least twice daily and flossing daily to remove plaque and prevent buildup along the gumline.
• Use an antiseptic or medicated mouthwash recommended by your dentist to help control bacterial growth in your mouth.
• Consume a well-balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly vitamin C, which supports gum health. Include fruits, vegetables, and dairy products in your meals.
• Stay adequately hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Water helps flush away food particles and bacteria, reducing the risk of gum inflammation.
• Schedule regular dental check-ups and cleanings to monitor your oral health and address any issues early on. Your dentist can provide personalised advice based on your specific condition.
