Tln-ct 4/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure

• Prevention of cardiovascular events

• Reduction of stroke risk

• Prevention of heart attacks

• Protection against kidney problems

• Control of resistant hypertension

• Management of isolated systolic hypertension

• Regulation of blood pressure in elderly patients

• Blood pressure control in patients with diabetes

• Management of hypertension with fluid retention

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day, preferably in the morning.

• You may take it with or without food.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well.

• If you have trouble remembering to take your medicine, set a daily reminder.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about your treatment.

Tln-ct 4/12.5 MG Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Tln-ct 4/12.5 MG Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Benidipine (4 mg): A calcium channel blocker that selectively inhibits the entry of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells. By decreasing the amount of calcium inside these cells, it relaxes blood vessels, reducing peripheral resistance and lowering blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): A thiazide-like diuretic that works on the distal convoluted tubule of the kidney. It inhibits the kidney's ability to retain water and salt, increasing the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water. This leads to a reduction in blood volume and cardiac output, further contributing to the blood pressure-lowering effect.

• Store this medication at temperatures below 30°C.

• Keep in a dry place, away from direct light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging to protect the medicine.

• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a low-salt diet to help manage your high blood pressure. Reducing salt intake helps your medicine work better and supports healthy blood pressure levels.

• Maintain a healthy weight through regular physical activity (aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days), as excess weight can worsen hypertension.
