Tigotol 40/10 MG Capsule 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Tigotol 40/10 MG Capsule 10:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.
• This medicine is best taken at night before bedtime.
• Take it consistently at the same time each day.
• Continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.

Tigotol 40/10 MG Capsule 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to prevent migraines:

• Flunarizine (10 mg): As a selective calcium channel blocker, it prevents calcium from entering blood vessel cells and nerve cells in the brain. This helps stabilise blood vessels in the brain and reduces the over-excitability of nerve cells that can trigger migraines.
• Propranolol (40 mg): This is a non-selective beta-blocker that works by competing with substances that normally stimulate your heart and blood vessels. It reduces heart rate, the force of heart contractions, and blood pressure, which helps prevent the neurovascular inflammatory processes involved in migraine development.
