It contains flunarizine and propranolol, which work together to stabilise blood vessels and nerve activity in the brain. It is intended for long-term preventive treatment and should be taken as prescribed. Take it regularly at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly, as doing so may cause your symptoms to return.
Along with taking this medicine, identifying and avoiding personal migraine triggers can help manage your condition. Common triggers include stress, irregular sleep, skipped meals, loud noises, bright lights, and certain foods or beverages.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have asthma, slow heartbeat, blood circulation problems, depression, or liver or kidney disease. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking.
