Tenepride P Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Management of inadequate blood sugar control

• Improvement of insulin sensitivity in diabetic patients

• Enhancement of glucose uptake in muscles and fat

• Reduction of glucose production by the liver

• Preservation of natural insulin-releasing hormones

• Complementary therapy with diet and exercise

• Additional blood sugar control with other diabetes medicines

Follow these instructions while taking Tenepride P Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for consistent results.

Tenepride P Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Tenepride P Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Teneligliptin (20 mg): As a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, teneligliptin prevents the breakdown of incretin hormones in your body. These hormones naturally increase insulin release after meals and reduce glucagon (a hormone that raises blood sugar). Preserving these hormones helps maintain proper insulin secretion when glucose levels rise.

• Pioglitazone (15 mg): This component belongs to the thiazolidinedione class that activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-gamma), which increases insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat cells. This helps your body use insulin more effectively and reduces glucose production by the liver.

• Store Tenepride P Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C in its original container.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.
