Telzox 20 Tablet is a medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events. Lowering blood pressure helps protect vital organs such as the heart, brain, and kidneys from damage.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Take this tablet with or without food as prescribed, ideally as prescribed. Continue taking it consistently even when your blood pressure is controlled, as hypertension usually presents no obvious symptoms. Do not stop suddenly.
Lifestyle measures are essential for long-term blood pressure control. These include adopting a low-salt diet, maintaining an active routine, managing body weight, and limiting alcohol intake as recommended by your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems, or severe dehydration before starting this medicine. It must not be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function and blood potassium levels.
