TAXIM O CV DRY SYRUP is a combination antibiotic medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children. It is commonly prescribed for ear infections, sinus, nose, and throat infections, lung infections, skin infections, gastrointestinal infections, urinary tract infections, and uncomplicated typhoid fever.
It contains cefixime and clavulanic acid. Give it to your child orally as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food. Measure the dose accurately using the provided measuring spoon or cup. Complete the full prescribed course to ensure the infection is thoroughly cleared and to prevent bacterial resistance.
Ensure your child drinks adequate fluid and gets plenty of rest during treatment to support recovery from infection. Offering light, plain meals can help if your child experiences mild stomach upset.
Tell your child's doctor before starting this medicine if the child has any known allergies to antibiotics, kidney problems, or underlying digestive conditions. Report severe diarrhoea, persistent vomiting, or any signs of skin rash or allergic reaction to your child's doctor immediately.
