• Folic Acid (12.5 mcg): After converting to its active form, tetrahydrofolate (THF), folic acid acts as a coenzyme involved in single-carbon transfers during nucleotide biosynthesis and amino acid metabolism. THF helps in synthesizing heme and purine, essential components of haemoglobin.
• Together, iron and folic acid contribute to promoting RBCs and haemoglobin formation, supporting oxygen transportation throughout the body.
