Tacroheal 2 Capsule 10 interacts with the following medicines:

• Strong CYP3A inhibitors (e.g., clarithromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir): These medicines can markedly increase tacrolimus blood concentrations and increase the risk of kidney, neurological and cardiac toxicity. Dose adjustment and close monitoring may be required.
• Moderate CYP3A inhibitors (e.g., erythromycin, fluconazole, verapamil, diltiazem): These medicines may increase tacrolimus concentrations. Your doctor may monitor tacrolimus blood levels and adjust the dose.
• CYP3A inducers (e.g., rifampicin, rifabutin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital): These medicines can decrease tacrolimus concentrations and increase the risk of transplant rejection.
• Potassium-increasing medicines (e.g., spironolactone, amiloride, ACE inhibitors): Concurrent use may increase the risk of high potassium levels.
• Nephrotoxic medicines (e.g., aminoglycoside antibiotics, amphotericin B, certain antivirals): Concurrent use may increase the risk of kidney damage.
• Mycophenolic acid medicines (e.g., mycophenolate mofetil): Tacrolimus may increase exposure to mycophenolic acid, potentially increasing its adverse effects.
• Cannabidiol: Cannabidiol may increase tacrolimus concentrations. Therapeutic drug monitoring and tacrolimus dose adjustment may be required.

Tacroheal 2 Capsule 10 interacts with the following foods:

• Grapefruit: Contains compounds that significantly increase tacrolimus blood levels, potentially leading to severe toxicity.
• High-potassium foods: Your doctor may advise limiting excessive intake of potassium-rich foods if your blood potassium level becomes elevated.

Tacroheal 2 Capsule 10 interacts with the following diseases:

• Diabetes mellitus: Tacrolimus may increase blood glucose and can contribute to new-onset diabetes after transplantation.
• Hyperkalaemia: Tacrolimus may increase potassium levels and worsen pre-existing hyperkalaemia.
• Hypertension: Tacrolimus may increase blood pressure and require closer monitoring.
• Infections: Immunosuppression may reduce the body's ability to fight bacterial, viral, fungal and other infections.
• QT prolongation or heart rhythm disorders: Tacrolimus may prolong the QT interval in susceptible patients, particularly when combined with other risk factors or interacting medicines.

The daily dose of Tacroheal 2 Capsule 10 should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Your dosage may need to be adjusted based on your transplant type, body weight, and response to treatment. Never adjust your dose without consulting your doctor.

An overdose of this medicine may cause tremors, headaches, nausea, vomiting, and high blood sugar levels. If you suspect an overdose, contact your doctor.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose to make up.
