Stil 5 MD Tablet is used to relieve and prevent feeling sick (nausea), being sick (vomiting), and dizziness, particularly when caused by motion sickness, vertigo, or inner ear inflammation (labyrinthitis). It helps settle these balance-related symptoms.
It contains prochlorperazine and belongs to a group of medicines that ease nausea and dizziness. It is also used under close a doctor's supervision for the short-term management of severe anxiety and certain other conditions. This is a mouth-dissolving tablet; place it on the tongue and let it dissolve, and take it as prescribed. It may cause drowsiness, so take care when driving.
Alongside this medicine, resting in a quiet, still position during an episode of vertigo, avoiding sudden head movements, and taking small sips of water can help settle nausea and dizziness.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver problems, Parkinson's disease, or are taking other medicines, including those that cause drowsiness.
