CompositionSpirodin-650 Tablet is used to manage bronchial asthma, easing wheezing, breathlessness and chest tightness caused by narrowed airways. It is a single-ingredient bronchodilator containing doxofylline.
It is also used to help control symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults. Take it by mouth in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even during symptom-free periods to keep your airways open.
Avoid known asthma or COPD triggers such as smoke and dust, keep to a smoke-free environment and attend regular lung function checks. Limit tea, coffee and cola.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart problems, stomach ulcers or seizures, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report a fast or irregular heartbeat, tremors or persistent vomiting. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
