Sofrakem Cream 15gm

Sofrakem Cream 15gm is used to:

• Treat superficial bacterial skin infections
• Treat infected cuts, wounds, and abrasions
• Treat impetigo
• Treat secondary bacterial infections of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis)

Follow these instructions while using Sofrakem Cream 15gm:

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin.
• Use only as often as prescribed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before and after application.
• Do not cover with tight bandages unless advised.
• Do not apply to large areas unless directed by your doctor.
• Continue using the medicine for the duration advised by your doctor

Sofrakem Cream 15gm is used topically.

Sofrakem Cream 15gm contains the following active component:

• Fradiomycin Sulphate (0.5%): It works by interfering with the ability of bacteria to produce essential proteins required for their survival. By binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, it disrupts bacterial protein synthesis, which prevents bacterial growth and eventually leads to bacterial cell death. It acts locally at the site of application, helping reduce the number of bacteria on the skin and supporting the healing of the infected area.

• Store below 25°C.
• Keep the tube tightly closed.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date.

• Keep the affected area clean and dry.
• Avoid scratching or picking the infected skin.
• Do not share towels or clothing if the infection is contagious.
• Maintain good personal hygiene to prevent reinfection.
