Sitared Md Ir 5/50/500 Tablet 7 is used for the following:

• Managing diabetes-related complications, which may include sexual health issues

• Controlling blood glucose when single therapy fails

• Supporting dietary and exercise diabetes management plans

• Preventing diabetes-related kidney damage

• Reducing the risk of diabetes-related vision problems

• Preventing diabetes-related nerve problems

• Lowering the risk of diabetes-related limb amputation

• Addressing diabetes-related sexual dysfunction

• Decreasing cardiovascular risks in patients with diabetes

Follow these instructions while taking Sitared Md Ir 5/50/500 Tablet 7:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• Take the medicine at the same time each day.

• You may take this tablet with or without food.

Sitared Md Ir 5/50/500 Tablet 7 is taken orally.

Sitared Md Ir 5/50/500 Tablet 7 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood glucose levels:

• Dapagliflozin (5 mg): Works by blocking glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, causing excess sugar to be eliminated through urine, which helps lower blood glucose levels.

• Sitagliptin (50 mg): Enhances the body's natural incretin system, which increases insulin secretion when blood glucose rises, particularly after meals, while simultaneously decreasing glucose production by the liver.

• Metformin (500 mg): Reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity in body tissues, allowing your cells to utilise glucose more efficiently for energy.

• Store Sitared Md Ir 5/50/500 Tablet 7 in its original container at room temperature (below 25°C).

• Keep away from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.

• Store in a safe place out of children's reach.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Avoid storing in bathrooms or other humid environments.

• Follow a low-carbohydrate diet focusing on vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains to help maintain stable blood glucose (sugar) levels throughout the day.

• Include regular physical activity in your routine—aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days to improve insulin sensitivity (how well your body responds to insulin).
