Silectone 25 Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure and fluid retention caused by conditions such as congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis and certain kidney disorders, as well as primary hyperaldosteronism.
Uses of Silectone 25 Tablet 10 are:
• High Blood Pressure and Fluid Retention: Helps lower blood pressure and reduce swelling in the legs and ankles.
• Heart Failure and Liver Cirrhosis: Manages fluid build-up caused by these conditions.
• Primary Hyperaldosteronism: Helps balance salt and potassium levels caused by excess aldosterone.

Follow these instructions while taking Silectone 25 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking the medicine even if you feel better.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor.

This medication contains spironolactone (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Aldosterone antagonist: Spironolactone blocks the effects of a hormone called aldosterone, which normally increases sodium and water retention in your kidneys.
