SALMAPLON 4 MG TABLET 10 is used to manage asthma and COPD and to relieve and prevent bronchospasm. It eases wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness, helps prevent night-time and exercise-related symptoms, and supports easier breathing.

Primary Uses of SALMAPLON 4 MG TABLET 10 are:

• Asthma and COPD: Helps relax the airways and ease wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness.

• Bronchospasm: Helps relieve and prevent sudden tightening of the airways, including with exercise.

Follow these instructions while taking SALMAPLON 4 MG TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at evenly spaced times throughout the day.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Complete the full course as prescribed by your doctor.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor.

SALMAPLON 4 MG TABLET 10 contains Salbutamol (4 mg), which works on your body as follows:

• Adenylyl cyclase activation: When salbutamol binds to beta-2 receptors, it activates an enzyme called adenylyl cyclase, which converts Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) to cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP).

• Smooth muscle relaxation: The increased levels of cAMP in your lungs cause the smooth muscles surrounding your airways to relax.

• Bronchodilation: This relaxation widens your airways (bronchi and bronchioles), allowing more air to flow in and out of your lungs and making breathing easier.
