Avihist 4 MG Tablet 25 is used for the following:

• Management of asthma

• Treatment of COPD

• Relief of bronchospasm

• Control of wheezing episodes

• Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

• Management of breathing difficulties

• Improvement of lung function

• Prevention of night-time asthma symptoms

• Reduction of asthma exacerbations

• Control of respiratory symptoms in lung conditions

Follow these instructions while taking Avihist 4 MG Tablet 25:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at evenly spaced times throughout the day.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Complete the full course as prescribed by your doctor.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor.

Avihist 4 MG Tablet 25 is taken orally.

Avihist 4 MG Tablet 25 contains Salbutamol (4 mg), which works on your body as follows:

• Adenylyl cyclase activation: When salbutamol binds to beta-2 receptors, it activates an enzyme called adenylyl cyclase, which converts Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) to cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP).

• Smooth muscle relaxation: The increased levels of cAMP in your lungs cause the smooth muscles surrounding your airways to relax.

• Bronchodilation: This relaxation widens your airways (bronchi and bronchioles), allowing more air to flow in and out of your lungs and making breathing easier.

• Store Avihist 4 MG Tablet 25 at room temperature.

• Keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging to protect from environmental exposure.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Avoid foods and drinks containing caffeine (such as coffee, tea, and energy drinks) as these can worsen nervousness and shakiness, which are potential side effects of salbutamol.

• Maintain good respiratory health by avoiding smoke and air pollution, which can trigger asthma and COPD symptoms that this tablet helps to manage.
