Salen Solution 25ml

Salen Solution 25ml is used for:

• Treatment of vitiligo, to restore pigmentation in affected areas.

• Apply Salen Solution 25ml only on the affected areas as directed by your doctor.
• Avoid application on normal skin to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
• The lotion must be applied at a specified interval before UVA exposure (as instructed by your doctor).
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the lotion unless the treated area is on your hands.
• Do not use more than the prescribed amount.

Salen Solution 25ml is meant for topical use on the skin only.

Salen Solution 25ml contains the following active component:

• Methoxsalen (1%): Methoxsalen is a skin-colouring and photosensitising agent. Once applied topically and followed by UVA exposure, it binds with the DNA of skin cells. This action modifies abnormal skin cell activity, reduces excess cell growth in psoriasis, and stimulates pigmentation in vitiligo patches over time.
   

• Store at room temperature, away from light.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.
• Do not freeze the lotion.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date mentioned on the package.

• Limit direct sun exposure after applying Salen Solution 25ml. Wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses outdoors.
• Use broad-spectrum sunscreen on untreated areas of the body.
• Stay well hydrated to support skin health.
• Apply moisturisers regularly to prevent skin dryness and peeling.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully regarding UVA therapy sessions.
