Rozon D 5 Mg/1000 IU Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high cholesterol and triglyceride levels

• Management of mixed dyslipidaemia

• Increasing good cholesterol levels

• Prevention of cardiovascular events

• Reduction of heart attack and stroke risk

• Management of primary hyperlipidaemia

• Treatment of heterozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia

• Supporting bone health

• Addressing vitamin D deficiency

• Improving overall cardiovascular health

Follow these instructions while taking Rozon D 5 Mg/1000 IU Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly for the duration prescribed.

• If you have any concerns about using this medicine, consult your doctor.

Rozon D 5 Mg/1000 IU Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Rozon D 5 Mg/1000 IU Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Rosuvastatin (5 mg): This component inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in the liver. This enzyme plays a key role in producing cholesterol, so by blocking it, rosuvastatin effectively reduces the amount of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) produced in your body.

• Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) (1000 IU): This fat-soluble vitamin promotes calcium absorption in your intestines. It helps maintain adequate calcium and phosphate levels in your blood, which supports normal bone mineralisation and prevents muscle weakness that can sometimes occur with statin therapy.

Rozon D 5 Mg/1000 IU Tablet 10 must be stored as instructed to maintain its efficacy:

• Store the tablet at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.

• Keep the tablet in its original packaging, protected from light and moisture.

• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

• Do not use the tablet after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Follow a low-cholesterol diet by reducing saturated fats (found in butter, cheese, and fatty meats) and including more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to help manage hyperlipidaemia (high blood cholesterol).

• Engage in regular physical activity like brisk walking for at least 30 minutes daily to help lower your LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels and improve your heart health.
