Rosycap Gold 20/150 Capsule 15 is used in adults with cardiovascular disease for comprehensive protection, helping prevent heart attacks, manage angina and control abnormal cholesterol levels.

Uses of Rosycap Gold 20/150 Capsule 15 are:

• Acute Coronary Syndrome and Angina: Helps manage acute coronary syndrome and treats angina pectoris (chest pain).
• Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention: Reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes in high-risk patients.
• Cholesterol Control: Lowers LDL and total cholesterol and triglycerides, and helps raise HDL cholesterol.

Follow these instructions while taking Rosycap Gold 20/150 Capsule 15:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Do not crush, chew, or open the capsule.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Rosycap Gold 20/150 Capsule 15 contains three active ingredients that work together to protect your heart and blood vessels:

• Aspirin (150 mg): Acts as an antiplatelet agent by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which reduces the production of substances called prostaglandins and thromboxanes that cause inflammation and blood clotting.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): Works as an adenosine diphosphate (ADP) receptor antagonist that prevents platelets (tiny blood cells) from sticking together to form unwanted blood clots that could block blood vessels.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): Functions as an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (also called a statin) that blocks an enzyme responsible for making cholesterol in your liver, thereby lowering levels of LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while slightly increasing HDL (good cholesterol).

• Store Rosycap Gold 20/150 Capsule 15 at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until time of use.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Heart-healthy diet: Choose foods low in saturated fats and cholesterol (like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) to help manage dyslipidaemia (abnormal blood fat levels) alongside your medicine.

• Regular physical activity: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days to improve cardiovascular health and help prevent atherosclerosis (narrowing of arteries).
