CompositionRnd Decet 150 Mg Tablet 10 is used to treat certain parasitic worm infections, including lymphatic filariasis, loiasis (African eye worm) and tropical eosinophilia, by clearing the tiny larval worms (microfilariae) from the blood.
It contains diethylcarbamazine, an antiparasitic medicine. It works by killing the microfilariae and helping the body clear the adult worms.
Take it after food as prescribed, and complete the full course.
As the parasites are cleared, you may get fever, headache, itching or aches (a reaction to the dying parasites); tell your doctor, who may manage this. Report severe reactions or worsening symptoms.
