CompositionRenosave Forte Tablet is used as a supportive treatment in chronic kidney disease, including kidney disease linked to diabetes. It is a combination supplement containing N-acetylcysteine, an antioxidant, and pyridoxamine, a form of vitamin B6.
Both ingredients have antioxidant effects, which may help reduce oxidative stress in the kidneys. The evidence for slowing kidney disease is limited, so it is used alongside, not instead of, your main kidney treatments such as blood pressure and diabetes medicines. Take it with food, as prescribed by your doctor.
Follow your prescribed diet and fluid limits, control blood pressure and blood sugar, avoid painkillers such as ibuprofen unless your doctor agrees, and attend all blood and urine tests.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a stomach ulcer or a history of bleeding from the gut, and about other medicines and supplements you take. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop and seek medical help if you develop wheezing, breathing difficulty, a rash or swelling. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
