Ralogen Tablet 10

Ralogen Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treating osteoporosis in postmenopausal women

• Preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women

• Strengthening bones and reducing bone loss

• Lowering the risk of invasive breast cancer

• Increasing bone mineral density

• Managing bone thinning after menopause

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You can take it with or without food.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly unless your doctor advises otherwise.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Ralogen Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Ralogen Tablet 10 contains raloxifene (60 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Selective Oestrogen Receptor Modulation: Raloxifene acts as a selective oestrogen receptor modulator (SERM), which means it behaves differently in various tissues of your body.

• Bone Strengthening: In bone tissue, raloxifene mimics the beneficial effects of oestrogen by reducing bone breakdown and increasing bone mineral density, which helps strengthen your bones.

• Breast Tissue Protection: In breast tissue, raloxifene blocks oestrogen receptors, which helps reduce the growth of oestrogen-dependent breast tissue and lowers the risk of invasive breast cancer.

• Uterine Safety: Unlike oestrogen, raloxifene does not stimulate uterine tissue growth, which helps avoid an increased risk of endometrial cancer.

• Store Ralogen Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place.

• Keep in the original packaging to protect it from moisture.

• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Calcium-rich diet: Include dairy products, leafy greens, and fortified foods in your daily meals to support bone health and enhance the bone-strengthening effects of raloxifene.

• Regular weight-bearing exercise: When combined with your Ralogen Tablet 10 treatment, activities like walking, jogging, or resistance training can help increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
