CompositionRabimed D Tablet is used to treat acid-related stomach conditions such as acid reflux, heartburn, and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It reduces stomach acid and helps the digestive tract move more effectively, easing discomfort and supporting the healing of ulcers.
It contains rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), and domperidone, a prokinetic medicine. Rabeprazole reduces stomach acid, while domperidone improves stomach movement and controls nausea. It is best taken on an empty stomach, before a meal, and swallowed whole. Take it as prescribed for the full course your doctor advises.
Alongside this medicine, eating smaller and more regular meals, avoiding spicy, fatty, or very acidic foods, not lying down soon after eating, and limiting alcohol, caffeine, and smoking can help reduce acidity.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney problems, or are taking other medicines. Long-term acid-lowering treatment can affect the absorption of certain vitamins and minerals, which your doctor can monitor. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
